Itineraries

We work tirelessly to ensure that our bespoke and scheduled itineraries are correct at time of booking, in the unlikely event that changes are forced upon us, prior to travel and due to circumstances beyond our control; we will communicate with all guests affected at the earliest point with our enforced alterations.

Final itineraries and joining instructions including travel, collection points, tickets and accommodation will be sent to you 3-4 weeks prior to travelling.

Travel

All travel within bespoke and scheduled tour itineraries is included within the price of the tour.

Travel to and from the collection points is not included in your tour costs, we can organise this on your behalf, we will only charge you the travel costs we incur, we do not charge a fee for this service.

Accommodation

The price of your tour is based on two people sharing a twin or double bedded room, single occupancy rooms are available at a supplement of £15 per person per night.

The primary accommodation for your tour will be our own Freeman Farm, for tours where an alternative is required for all or part of your tour we ensure that accommodation of a similar standard is provided.

Meals / Food

All of your meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during bespoke and scheduled tours are provided within the price of your tour, we also supply tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks throughout the day as part of your package.

In 1914 a WWI Winnipeg Captain, Harry Colebourn, took a black bear cub to England as his regiment's mascot. When Colebourn shipped out for France, he donated the bear named "Winnipeg", after his home town, to the London Zoo. Author A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin loved "Winnie" and his father later crafted stories about a boy and his bear, "Winnie the Pooh".
